By Jacques Minne, Bruges, Belgium, circa 1750 The case surmounted by a finely cast ormolu cresting above a waisted case with a shaped bezel enclosing a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minutes marker, signed 'Jacques Minne Bruges'; the lower section with glazed aperture and centered by a finely cast ormolu peacock, the twin-train movement with external countwheel strike, and with backplate signed 'Jacques Minne Bruges' with matching bracket. No winding key, no pendulum. Overall height 46 3/4 inches (119 cm), width 16 inches (40.5 cm) , depth 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).
