First half 18th century Each bowl is painted with alternating panels of gilt-heightened blue rabbits and iron-red and gilt jardinieres of flowers, each saucer with prunus blossom motifs within an iron-red border. Tea bowl diameter 3 inches (7.6 cm), saucer diameter 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm). Provenance: The Benjamin F. Edwards III Collection of Chinese Porcelain, January 22, 2002, lot 191.
