Supplements to a service made for Frederich the Great, circa 1900 Each center reserved with butterflies and flowering roses issuing from rockwork and a grassy ground within a band of trailing blue morning glories and gilt-enriched feuille-dechoux shaped rims. Diameter 9 7/8 (25 cm). Provenance: Kaiser Wilhelm II, Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin. Literature: The service was commissioned in 1770 for the court household in Charlottenburg Palace and was delivered in 1772.
