Circa 1920. Etching and drypoint on paper depicting a widgeon duck rising in flight above marsh grasses, rendered in a restrained monochrome palette characteristic of Benson’s wildlife compositions. Pencil-signed by the artist at the lower right margin, with plate marking “XI” and a small impressed seal at the lower edge. Presented professionally framed and matted under clear glazing within a wood frame, ready to hang. Good vintage condition with overall toning, light foxing, and mat discoloration consistent with age. Frame shows surface wear and backing paper exhibits age-related wear. Please refer to the photos for more details. Frame size: 12-3/4" x 16-3/4".
