Vintage carved faux scrimshaw trinket box in the form of a resting duck, decorated with engraved feather details filled with dark pigment to simulate traditional scrimshaw work. Interior and underside of the lid feature additional engraved scenes including a dragonfly and ducks with chicks. Felt-covered base. Good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and handling.
