Circa 1735 Reserved with gilt-lined quatrefoil cartouches of figures walking in a landscape below a conforming domed cover, further enriched with gilt, with blue crossed swords mark. Height 4 3/4 inches (12 cm). Footnote: Commissioned by Augustus the Strong, Johann Joachim Käendler began experimenting around with 1726 with a range of colored grounds for porcelain surfaces, establishing the foundation for what became known as "ground" porcelain. The green ground, appearing in tones from olive and steel to vibrant apple green like the examples above, is among the rarest colors used on Meissen porcelain. 品相： No condition report?
