Circa 1785 Each with a shaped rectangular padded back carved with beading; the padded arms on fluted supports with acanthus-carved terminals: the bowed seat rails carved with beaded border, on fluted tapering legs headed by paterea and terminating in toupie feet; upholstered in a later blue fabric with stylized foliate and plume motifs.
