Austrian, 1837-1902 Squero di San Trovaso, Venice Signed FR Unterberger (lr) Oil on canvas 32 1/2 x 27 3/4 inches (82.5 x 70.5 cm) We are grateful to Dr. Sybille Moser-Ernst for kindly confirming the authenticity of this work on the basis of photographs. (Frame 39 1/2 x 35 inches) 品相： Frame rubbing; scattered craquelure throughout, mainly in the sky, resulting in a few tiny paint flakes; there are two tiny patched punctures on the reverse at bottom center with corresponding spots of inpainting; scattered inpainting in the sky, including a 3 inch area at upper left center; a two inch thin line at upper center and a few spots above this; several small spots at right upper center; there appears to be an area at the top center, however this does not fluoresce under UV light; no further apparent restoration; could use a light cleaning.
