After designs attributed to Andre-Charles Boulle, late 19th Century The central shaft formed as a baluster standard, adorned with finely chased scrolling foliage and strapwork; the lower section applied with six scrolling arms embellished with acanthus leaves, C-scrolls and floral ornament, each arm supporting a circular bobeche with engraved decoration, centered by a candle nozzle; the underside terminating in a turned finial with pendant foliate ornament. Fitted for electricity Height 28 inches (71 cm), diameter 31 inches (79 cm).
