Hungarian, 1895-1946 Untitled (Study for AXL II), circa 1927 Signed Moholy-Nagy (lr) Pencil, ink and watercolor on paper 19 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches (50.2 x 35 cm) Provenance: Acquired from Sybil Moholy-Nagy by Alvia G. Golden, January 1955 Thence by descent to the current owner The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by The Estate of László Moholy-Nagy. This lot is accompanied by a photocopy of the original note from Sybil Moholy-Nagy, the artist's wife, which reads: "Thank you for your nice note. the [sic] terms of payment for the Moholy-Nagy, as stated, are of course agreeable to me. Best regards- S. M-N" 品相： Adhered in spots along the edges on the verso to the backing board; minor wear along the edges with a small loss to the lower right corner; handling creases; lightly toned.
