Bright (lr) Oil on canvas 31 3/4 x 52 1/8 inches (80.5 x 132.4 cm) Frame 39 1/2 x 60 1/4 inches (100.4 x 153 cm) Henry Bright specialized in landscape painting, often in collaboration with other artists, including Thomas Sidney Cooper, William Shayer, and John Frederick Herring, Senior. In these works, Bright typically painted a dramatic and atmospheric landscape into which his partner would add figures of people, cattle, or sheep. Thomas Sidney Cooper's participation in this work is recorded on an old handwritten label on the stretcher. 品相： Glue relined.
