[the rest illegible], probably referencing the Latin proverb Tempora mutantur et nos muttamur in illsi (Times change, and we change with them) Oil on canvas 31 3/4 x 40 inches (80.7 x 101.6 cm) Frame 39 1/4 x 48 1/2 inches (99.6 x 123.2 cm) 品相： Glue relined. A 2 -inch vertical mended tear near the lower left corner. Scattered areas of restoration in the sky, and scattered touches in the foreground. Shadows on the architecture and the clothing reinforced.
