Christ Washing the Feet of His Disciples Oil on canvas 20 3/8 x 47 3/8 inches (51.7 x 121.2 cm) Frame 26 3/4 x 54 5/8 inches (68 x 138.8 cm) Provenance: [Sale] Sotheby's London, October 30, 2008, lot 202 The original version of this composition, now in the Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England, was painted by Tintoretto in 1648/49 as a companion piece to his painting of The Last Supper for the church of San Marcuola in Venice. There is a second autograph version by Tintoretto in the Museo del Prado in Madrid. 品相： Glue relined. Some contours and shadows reinforced. Several touches of restoration in the foreground, to the right of the kneeling figure of Christ.
