Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A gold pendant formed as a circular plaque. The obverse is framed by three concentric borders comprising a raised plain band, an inner band with fine granules set at intervals, and a ropework band, enclosing a central interlace knot in twisted wire with applied pellets and small circles. The integral suspension lug with repouss? scrolls and granules is fitted at the apex. The reverse is plain. For similar see: A. Reynolds, L.
