Ca. 20th century AD. >A model of a traditional outrigger pirogue, carved from wood and constructed with miniature structural components representing an ocean-going canoe of the Pacific. The elongated hull tapers at both ends and is fitted with a single outrigger float connected by a series of crossbeams, providing balance and stability on open water. The model includes a raised platform structure above the central hull, supported by vertical posts and crosspieces, as well as a small detachable paddle.
