Ca. 200 - 1 BC. A large gold ring with a broad, tapering hoop expanding to an oval bezel plate, the mount formed with stepped collars and an outer beaded border. Set with an oval carnelian intaglio engraved with Omphale standing in contrapposto, holding the club of Herakles, with the skin of the Nemean lion suspended from the arm, on a groundline.
