Ca. 1600 - 1450 BC. A Late Minoan bead-seal of banded agate, pierced longitudinally and finished with a rounded reverse. The flat face is engraved with a squid, shown with a mantle and prominent eyes above a compact head, from which issue multiple curving tentacles. For similar see: M.
