Ca. 19th century AD. >A group of three hunting boomerangs, each of gently arched form, carved from dense hardwood and of solid, slightly flattened cross-section; these boomerangs are designed for direct projection rather than as returning boomerangs.Note the long, shallow curvature and subtly tapered terminals, indicative of functional shaping. > >Size: 655-710mm x 60-80mm; Weight: 1.2kg > For similar see: British Museum, Oc1931,1118.36.
