Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A gold pendant in the form of a seated cat, modelled in the round on an integral rectangular base. The head is rendered with pointed ears, almond-shaped eyes and a rounded muzzle, with a circular suspension loop set to the upper back. Size: 21mm x 14mm; Weight: 11.5g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of an early 2000s UK ancient art collection; formerly acquired in Cambridge from the H.
