Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A gold pendant in the form of the head of the god Bes, with a broad face framed by a stylised beard and prominent, rounded ears. The eyes are deeply set beneath arched brows, the nose is wide, and the mouth is slightly open with a protruding tongue. The forehead is decorated with a crisscross pattern and the head is crowned with a headdress consisting of five long feathers. The back is plain with a single rectangular loop for suspension.
