A massive, comprehensive 116-piece service of vintage silver-plated flatware in the iconic "Coronation" pattern by Oneida Community (introduced 1936), containing: 1. Dining Essentials including full service for 12, including three kinds of knives (French blade, the smallest butter spreaders or fruit knives has 13 pieces), three kinds of forks, and three kinds of spoons. 2. 9-Piece Hostess Serving Suite including a large pierced pastry server, scalloped berry spoon, cold meat forks, and a pierced vegetable serving spoon. This exceptional set is distinguished by its extensive piece count and the inclusion of 13 small specialty knives. Each piece is hallmarked "COMMUNITY" on the reverse, signifying Oneida's premier "Community Plate" quality, known for its heavy silver deposit and lifetime durability. The set features a refined Art Deco aesthetic with pierced, tapered handles and delicate floral-scroll crests, explicitly marked "MADE IN FRANCE", a rarer European production run for the American brand. The set is in excellent vintage condition, with light surface wear, oxidation or tonal tarnish consistent with careful, infrequent domestic use; no significant "silver bleed" or base metal exposure.
