Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. >A group of six carved wooden miniature masks and one cast metal example (bronze or brass), each depicting stylised facial features characteristic of various West and Central African carving traditions. The masks display a variety of forms, including elongated faces, almond-shaped eyes, pronounced noses and incised coiffures.
