Ca. mid 20th century AD or earlier. >A Tanzanian wooden female figure with naturalistic proportions, the sculpture depicts a woman standing upright with her arms bent and hands joined at the abdomen. The figure is characterised by a stylised head with simplified facial features and a smooth coiffure framing the face.
