Decorative mid- century gilt-metal vanity set including an oval mirrored tray with openwork foliate gallery, a pair of matching ormolu perfume bottles with pierced spherical bodies and foliate stoppers, and a covered trinket box raised on scrolling feet with a pierced lid finial. Perfume bottles retain their interior glass liners, and the trinket box contains a cut-glass insert. The ensemble reflects the decorative character of mid-20th century vanity garnitures inspired by earlier French Louis XVI or Rococo Revival dressing-table accessories. Overall good vintage condition with light wear to the gilt finish. Mirror surface shows light scratches from age and use. Please refer to the photos for more details.
