Ca. early 20th century AD. >A beautiful Akua'ba doll carved in the canonical form. The figure is distinguished by its large, disc-shaped head, rising above a slender cylindrical body with short outreached horizontal arms, with high domed forehead and sharply defined median ridge descending to the small mouth, with almond-shaped eyes delicately incised beneath a gently arched brow line.
