A fine 14k gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch Movement signed Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation, Glashütte, No.83'494, made circa 1926 Frosted gilt three-quarter plate movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, blued steel overcoil hairspring, swan-neck micro regulation, white enamel dial, raised outer with Breguet style numerals and minute track, sunken subsidiary seconds, decorative gold hands, 14k gold case numbered 83494 with plain gold cuvette, plain cover and reverse. Case, dial and movement signed.Accompanied by a red Wempe presentation case. Diameter 54mm, approx. thickness 13mm. Approx. total weight 113.31g. An almost identical pocket watch, number 83'585, was sold at auction in New York, Dec 2013.
