A fine 18k gold key-wind pocket watch No.12295, hallmarked Chester 1890 Hinged full-plate movement with fusee train, cut bi-metallic balance and lever escapement under locking dust cover, engine-turned dial with black Roman numerals, outer minutes, central floral pattern, blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds, substantial hinged gold case stamped by casemaker F.W (Frederick Wilkins, Spon Street, Coventry) with finely decorated bezel, band and reverse, central blank cartouche. Movement signed and numbered.Accompanied by 7 various keys. Diameter 54mm, depth approx.22mm. Approx. total weight 152g.
