A stainless steel automatic wristwatch Air-King Precision, Ref.5500, Case No.4121715, made circa 1976, sold in 1977 Cal.1520, self-winding 26 jewel movement, silvered dial with applied steel faceted baton indexes, outer tritium dots, steel/tritium hands, centre seconds, stainless steel Oyster case with screw-down reverse and crown, plain bezel, on fitted Rolex Ref.7835/19 folded-link bracelet with 357 endlinks and clasp code A (1976). Case, dial and movement signed.Accompanied by a correct period Rolex Ref.67.00.3 presentation case, Rolex Watches of Switzerland Glasgow booklet guarantee numbered 357 and dated 3/12/77, further blank Rolex Oyster guarantee booklet, Watches of Switzerland Glasgow sales receipt dated 3/12/77 for £216, further 2 WOS service receipts dated 1982 and 1988, Laing service receipt for 2003 and spare link. Diameter 34mm, approx. bracelet size 183mm. Rarely do you find such a complete and well-preserved collection of documents retained with a watch. It is interesting to note, as we often see, instead of the correct reference and serial used on the guarantee, the endlink (357) code was used.
