Ca. 20th century AD. >A standing Songye figure carved with compact proportions, the sculpture features a rounded head with large almond-shaped eyes, a small mouth, and a prominent vertical coiffure rising above the crown. The slender torso is slightly arched, with the hands placed along the abdomen.
