Carved wooden Yoruba Ibeji twin figure from Nigeria depicting a standing memorial figure with stylized proportions and ridged coiffure. The figure wears a necklace of small yellow beads and retains traces of blue pigment on the hair. The surface shows a dense, old encrusted patina consistent with ritual handling and age. Mounted on an integral base with a metal ring attached to the hand. Minor abrasions and age consistent with age and handling. Please refer to the photos for more details. Height: 9-3/4".
