Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. >A finely carved Mangbetu stool with a circular seat supported by a sculptural central column. The thick, rounded upper seat shows a smooth, worn surface. A narrow vertical opening pierces the supporting form, adding visual contrast and lightness to the otherwise compact structure.
