Featuring an elongated oval face, domed forehead, arched brows, round eye openings, narrow nose, and full parted lips. The mask displays a dark, aged patina with areas of wear and surface encrustation. Perforations along the rim were used to attach fiber or textile elements forming a coiffure or decorative surround during ceremonial use. Hollowed reverse with visible hand-carved interior. With a small section of loss to the rim, overall good antique condition with surface wear, patina variation consistent with traditional use and age. Please refer to the photos for more details.
