Substantial hand-carved lion sculpture fashioned from yellow onyx, exhibiting warm honey, cream, and pale amber tones with natural translucency and banding throughout. Featuring a flowing mane, muscular body, extended forelegs, and gently curved tail. The lion is presented in a commanding standing pose with head raised and mouth open in a stylized roar, symbolizing strength and guardianship. Very good overall decorative condition. Minor surface wear, small edge abrasions, and natural stone inclusions consistent with hand-carved onyx. No visible breaks or repairs observed. Please refer to the photos for more details.
