A Japanese bronze inlaid incense burner and cover, koro Meiji period The rounded body containing a fitted liner with mouth rim decorated with a band of keyfret, supported by slender tripod legs, flanked by a pair of animal handles, carved and inlaid to the front and back with birds, flowers, and lotus leaves, base incised with mark reads kumagai zo, the cover with finial in form of a chrysanthemum bud, 13cm high.
