A Chinese polychrome and gilt stucco figure of a seated Guanyin Ming dynasty Seated with one hand resting on a raised knee, wearing a red cape and jewellery, wearing a crown adorned with ruyi scrolls, the face serene with a red urna to the forehead, 64cm high. Provenance: Certificate of Appraisal, Dragon House, 4 January 2005. 明 描金彩繪泥塑觀音坐像 來源：Dragon House 評估證書，2005年1月4日。 cf. The stylistic features of the current figure confirm the original location of the current deity to be from Shanxi. Similar figures can be seen in the Shuanglin temple in Pingyao, each with a rounded face featuring a slightly pointed chin.
