A Chinese famille verte on biscuit figure of Zhang Guolao Qing dynasty, Kangxi period Modelled standing smiling, holding a document with both hands, 24.5cm high. 清康熙 素燒五彩張果老立像 Zhang Guo, better known as Zhang Guolao, is a Chinese mythological figure and one of the Eight Immortals in the Daoist Pantheon. He is said to have lived from the middle or end of the 7th century to around the middle of the 8th.
