A pair of Chinese silk embroidered hanging panels Late Qing dynasty/early Republic period The sky-blue satin silk finely embroidered in satin stitch with rich brown silk thread butterflies framing a lotus and peony roundel above further peony sprigs, all below a musical chime and bat at the top, 163.5cm x 52cm (2) Provenance: Collection of the Italian Ambassador (then Head of the Italian Legation) in Peking, 1927–1931, and thence by descent within the family. 清晚期/民國 藍地刺綉花蝶紋挂屏 來源：義大利駐華公使（時任義大利駐京使團團長）於北京之收藏，1927–1931年入藏，並其後家族傳承。
