Two Chinese silk ‘hundred birds’ embroidered panels 20th century The red ground panel is probably fragment of a pillow cover, fully embroidered with a scene of birds paying tribute to phoenix, 82 x 62cm; the other one embroidered on gauze with birds and sun, 102 x 55cm (2).
