A Chinese apricot-ground 'hundred boys ' brocade panel Qing dynasty, 17th/18th century Formed of two panels stitched along the long edge to the centre, each woven with rows of boys at play in a garden setting, accompanied by stags and cranes, within key-fret and wan character borders, beneath an upper register decorated with phoenixes, dragons, peony sprays and finger citrons, all on an apricot-ground, 138 x 204cm.
