A Khmer sandstone torso of a deity 11th/12th century Naturalistically and softly carved with gentle curves, wearing a clinging sampot dipping dramatically below the navel and tied with a simple belt, 32cm high, wood stand. Provenance: collection of Richard Haines. Rowlands, Browse and Delbanco, London, 14 May 1969 (receipt).
