A Cambodian sandstone head of a male deity, possibly Visnu Khmer, Angkor Wat period, 12th century With finely braided conical hairstyle gathered behind a high crown, the face carved in a serene expression, with delicately detailed features, 23cm high. Provenance: Brussels Oriental Art fair, Michael Woerner Asian Art, via Main Crown Trading Ltd, 9 June 2007, (facsimile of invoice).
