LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' HU-FORM VASE QING DYNASTY, QIANLONG MARK, 18TH-19TH CENTURY 清 乾隆款 青花纏枝蓮紋鋪首耳大壺painted on the bulbous body with lotus flower heads borne on scrolling tendrils underneath a band of beribboned Eight Buddhist Emblems, flanked on both sides of the shoulders with moulded mythical beast masks holding loop rings as handles, the base inscribed with a six-character Qianlong mark 53.5cm high A comparable vase, Qing dynasty, Qianlong mark and period, is in the Art Institute of Chicago, reference no. 1937.937
