AFRICAN ABARAMBO WATER POT

Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. >A water pot of globular form rising to a tall tapering neck with horizontal ribbing and a rounded rim, the shoulder decorated with incised geometric leaf-like motifs. Pots of this form are known among the Abarambo people, traditionally used for storing and carrying water.
