Ca. 20th century AD. >A palm wine container formed from a large natural gourd, its rounded body secured within a finely woven fibre framework. The vessel features a tall, curved neck, creating an elegant pouring spout. The gourd is held within a woven basketry cradle, with vertical fibre bands rising from a circular base and tied around the neck to stabilise the vessel.
