A French army cuirassier breastplate and matching helmet, by the Imperial Manufacture of Châtellerault, 1856-61 The front plate of the breastplate is dated 1861, and the back plate 1856, which shows they were assembled. Both are signed 'Manufacture Imperiale de Châterlault'.
