Ca. late 19th century AD. >A feather hat constructed from woven fibre forming a structured upper section, the headdress is richly adorned with rows of small shells and bands of red and white beads. From the lower portion hangs a dense curtain of narrow fibre strands interspersed with horizontal beadwork bands, creating a layered, cascading effect.
