Circa 1850s, each vase featuring the classic “Diamond Thumbprint” pattern with repeating diamond panels enclosing a concave oval, a highly decorative Victorian design. Both have scalloped rims and molded pedestal bases, creating a balanced and elegant form. Celery vases were popular Victorian table ornaments used to display fresh celery stalks as a centerpiece on formal dining tables. In very good antique condition. The taller vase exhibits straw mark lines and the shorter vase shows areas of surface roughness to the interior and one spot of roughness to the edge of the mouth, inherent to early glassmaking and typical of the period. Both vases display air bubble inclusions and short crack lines at the base while the surfaces remain smooth. No other damages or defects are observed. Please refer to the photos for more details.
