Circa 1880s. Heavy Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) tall pitcher or tankard in the Roanoke pattern, produced by U.S. Glass Co.. Formed in clear pressed glass, the body is densely decorated with repeating diamond-point and sawtooth elements, terminating in a scalloped base. The pitcher features a pronounced pouring spout and a robust applied handle with molded detailing, exhibiting the substantial weight and visual impact associated with late 19th-century American pressed glass tableware. Notably heavy example, weighing approximately 5.2 pounds, reflecting thick glass and quality manufacture. In very good condition with only a short dark crack line (no missing) near the foot (Photo 4). Please refer to the photos for more details.
