Adams and his son, watercolour, approximately 28cm high x 40cm high These portraits are part of a series of Japanese artists' interpretations of the Americans who arrived on Commodore Matthew C Perry's 'Black Ships' expedition to open Japan to trade in 1853-1854. 品相: some marks to the paper but in presentable condition
