A Japanese Kutani double gourd vase and cover, the body finely painted with three circular panels depicting a four-clawed dragon amongst clouds, another of a leaping carp by a waterfall and the other depicting a ho-o bird, all amongst complex borders, painted seal mark to base, Meiji-Taisho Era, 37cm high 品相： the vase in good condition with little or no ear to the enamels or gilding but the cover with chip and piece glued to the unpainted inner neck of the rim
